AS3D Concept
AS3D stereoscopic technology was developed by digital image, and
inctroduced by the CUBE3D² at Eurographics 2006.
Parallel drive architecture
Two parallel image pipelines are used to drive one DMD (Digital Micromirror
Device) from Texas Instruments. Allowing the Projector to display 120
Images/s instead of 60 Images/s. 120 Images are displayed alternatingly
with 60Hz for each eye, resulting in a flickerfree appearance.
