DEVELOPING LEADING EDGE TECHNOLOGY
AS3D Concept
AS3D stereoscopic technology was developed by digital image, and
inctroduced by the CUBE3D² at Eurographics 2006.
Parallel drive architecture
Two parallel image pipelines are used to drive one DMD (Digital Micromirror
Device) from Texas Instruments. Allowing the Projector to display 120
Images/s instead of 60 Images/s. 120 Images are displayed alternatingly
with 60Hz for each eye, resulting in a flickerfree appearance.
Active Stereo Technology advantage
Compared to other Stereoscopic technologies,
active Stereo has a lot of advantages:
AS3D Stereo Technology advantage
is licensed by projectiondesign F10AS3D
projector. Providing two independant digital inputs
for maximal 3D performance in a convenient small package.
2009 digital IMAGE presented AS3D Projector based on F32
from projectiondesign
For higher light output the first commercially
available WUXGA Single Chip DLP 3D projector was presented Summer 2009.
Later we developed FL32AS3D, a WUXGA 3D stereo projector with LED Lamp.
Mulri View Projection
The correct perspective is essential for 3D perception.
In Multi Viewer 3D environments persons may be tracked, but the projection
system just can present one 3D view - Resulting in incorrect views for
non tracked viewers.
Our 6 View/12 Image 3D projection
system provides independant images for 6 users.
Using our AS3D-XBAR technology and high
speed shutters for high speed images.
Our 6 View/12 Image 3D projection
system licensed by digital projection UK .
